Vernon Verle Brown, 74 of Sedalia died Tuesday March 24, 2020 in Madison Health. He was born November 25, 1945 in Frankfort, Ohio to Ova and Dorothy (Roseberry) Brown. He was a volunteer firefighter for Range Township, was a volunteer baseball coach at Madison Plains and was a member of Carpenter Union Local #200.
Survived by his wife of 49 years, Suzanne (Bricker) Brown; sons Scott (Holly) Brown of Sedalia, David Brown of Delaware, Tim (Theresa) Brown of Michigan; grandchildren Brandon Rose, Connor and Chesney Brown; great granddaughter Scarlett Rose; sisters and brothers Dixie Dill of Sedalia, Frank Brown of Mt. Sterling, Ken (June) Brown of Clark’s Lake, Ohio, Janet (Bill) Ervin of Sedalia and several nieces and nephews. Vernon is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Jodi Lynn Brown on January 24, 1996, twin brother and sister Phyllis and Gary and grandson Cole Brown.
