Shirley Lucile (Schatz) Schatz-Mouser

In Remembrance of Shirley Lucile Schatz-Mouser October 6, 1931 –August 12, 2020 Shirley Lucile Schatz-Mouser entered into Jesus’ loving arms August 12, 2020. Shirley was born in Hilliard, Ohio on October 6, 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents Eldon and Anna Lucile (Pendleton) Schatz, brothers and sisters-in-law George & Juanita Mae Schatz, Walter & Martha Schatz, daughter Bonnie Sue Fulk and husband of 39 years Paul Mouser. Shirley graduated from Hilliard High School in 1949. She was honest, kind-hearted, thoughtful and always smiling. She began her career working in a bank in Hilliard before starting a family. Shirley excelled at being a dedicated “stay-at-home mom.” She loved to have a good time with friends, either hosting or attending a party. Shirley had a passion and genuine talent for working with her hands, whether making a craft, crocheting, sewing clothing or making exceptionally beautiful cross-stitched items. Shirley is survived by daughters Donna (Clay) Filson and Darlene (Jim) Becker and step-daughter Marla (Roger) Jeffers; grandchildren: Julie (Grant) Paige, Jill (Chris) Wilson, Sarah (Ben) Porter, Kate (Jeff Sims) Ater, Sierra (Chris) Smith, Hallie Filson, Conner Jeffers, Celina Jeffers, Corbin Jeffers; great-grandchildren Alec Paige, Zachary Paige, Justine (Josh) Willis, Jolie, Samuel & Leah Porter, Eric Ater, Alex & Ava Wilson; great –great-grandchildren: Raya Willis, Arabella Paige; sister-like cousin Sherry (Tom) Yost and special companion Alvin Rings. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her and loved by those who met her. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and kindness through this difficult time. A special thanks to Ohio Health Hospice nurse, Lisa Best along with Drs. Bob Lewe and Christina Hudak (JK) of the Kobacker House.
