Naomi Geyer

Naomi Geyer passed away peacefully surrounded by her nursing home family on July 2nd 2020. Naomi would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, a sort of an offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing, and gardening to her heart’s content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce! She has earned her place in heaven and now she is smiling down on us. The residents at London Health and Rehab will miss her generous spirit and have lost someone who cared for even ‘the least of these.’ The staff will miss her smile, her helpful nature and willingness to welcome any who came in the door. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Naomi during her 81 years here, among them: Never let a person pass you by with a smile or a kind word. Never miss a day of Bingo – the prizes are worth it even if you only win once in a while. Laughter is truly the best medicine.” Those who knew Naomi, know that she hated being fussed over and would rather give than receive and per her wishes there will be no services. The people she leaves behind are her best friends and favorite staff at London Health and Rehab. Naomi will be incredibly missed.
