Janet Marie (Thompson) Steadman

Janet (Thompson) Steadman, aged 64, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023, in London, Ohio after a long fight with breast cancer that started in 1995. Originally from Tiltonsville, Ohio, but lived near Columbus, Ohio for over 35 years. Preceded in death by her father, Clifford Thompson, mother, Jane (Severini) Thompson, and brother Gary Thompson. Janet volunteered with several charities. She was past president of the St Cecilia, St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Southwest district President of the Diocese of Columbus, Ohio, St. Vincent de Paul Society. She worked as the senior graphic designer for the state of Ohio department of health for over 20 years. She leaves behind her loving husband, John Steadman and daughter Ashlie (Hunter) Steadman; her sister: Joyce Thompson; brothers: Clifford (Shirley) Thompson and Jeffrey (Shelly) Thompson; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 30, 2023, 11:00 AM at the Saint Patrick Church, 61 South Union Street, London, with Father Patrick Toner officiating. Interment will follow at the Saint Patrick Cemetery, London.
