Edward T. McClaskie, 75, of London, Ohio died Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at London Health and Rehabilitation. Ed was born May 25, 1945 in Range, the son of Fred and Kit McClaskie. He graduated from Madison South High School where he enjoyed running track. He began his adult life entering the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. After his honorable discharge from the military, he was employed at Shaw Elevator, Lombards Fertilizer, was an over the road truck driver with the CB Handle, ‘Redman’ at Fleetwood, Wales Transport, and retired from Davis Hay and Straw. He loved his ’52 Chevy-Ol ‘Gray, attending Car Shows and Swap Meets, country music and his family. Ed is survived by his daughters, Anna McClaskie and Bridget McClaskie, both of London. Grandchildren, Cole (Renee) McClaskie of Sedalia; Gabby Cooper and Jack Fellows, both of London; great-grandchildren: Brentley, Berkley, and Brayli, all of Sedalia; ex-wife, Kathy McClaskie of London. Several special friends and the family would like to thank Hall 3 and 4 Staff at London Health and Rehabilitation for taking such good care of Ed. Several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. Also survived by wife, Paula Burton McClaskie. Ed has been preceded in death by his, parents; his in-laws, Ed and Mary Dwyer; brother, Fred McClaskie; sister, Rachel Harrison; niece, Lynn Harrison. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at 11:00 AM., at the Range Township Cemetery, Sedalia, with the Reverend Gordon Ell Officiating. If friends are interested in participating in the procession from the funeral home to the cemetery, please be at the funeral home no later than 10 AM. Tuesday.
