Dava Joy French 62, of Leesburg passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born February 26, 1960, to David and Beverlee (Lovsey) French in Nelsonville, Ohio.
Dava was a 1978 graduate of Alexander High School and attended Ohio University. She worked for over 23 years at Highland County Jobs and Family Services. Dava was an avid Michigan fan and was able to attend a game at “The Big House” with her daughter Molly shortly before her diagnoses. Dava truly cherished the time she spent traveling all over the state of Ohio to various festivals and fairs with her daughter and other special pageant friends they met throughout the years.
Dava is survived by her father David Charles French; daughter Molly Joy French; Siblings: Tara French and Charles (Salvy) French; four nieces; special friends: Monda DeWeese and Laurie Reed; her special cat Jack Bauer and her grand cats Lucy Joy and Miko Ira. She is preceded in death by her mother.
Per Davas wishes a special memorial will be held at a later date on Ohio University Campus where she made many fond memories.
