Blanche Evelyn Cordle, 87, of London, died Thursday, March 26, 2020, at the Madison Senior Living Community, London. Mrs. Cordle was born September 30, 1932, in Madison County, the daughter of Lester and Velma (Lee) Tatman. Her family meant everything to her. She loved taking pictures of her family, eventually earning the moniker, “the one woman paparazzi”! She loved to crochet. She is survived by her children; Marilyn (Mark) Green and Karen Cordle, all of London; Roger (Brenda) Cordle of Springfield, Mel (Barbara) Cordle, of London; Sheila (Clete) Boyer of Orient; honorary daughter: Willie Harrison of West Jefferson; sister: Grace Wehrs of London; grandchildren: Laura (John) Norton, William (Meredith) Green, Sarah (Chad) Lawhun, and Chris (Kristi) Moore. Great-grandchildren: Owen and Liam Barger, Madilyn (Madi) Green, Nathan (Nate) Green, Justin (Lindsey Faith) Lisch, Jeffrey Moore, Elaina Lawhun, and Melinda (Mindy) Cordle. Great grandchild: Jerick Lisch. Numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Mrs. Cordle was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Cordle; sister: Phyllis Dirkse; brother: Cecil Tatman. According to Mrs. Cordle’s wishes, she is to be cremated. The family is being served by the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St., London.
