William "Bill" Conway Obituary

William M. "Bill" Conway, 78 of London died March 13, 2018. Born in Madison Co. October 20, 1939 to Bernard and Margaret Ann (Mooney) Conway. Bill was a founding member of Central Twp. Fire Department having served as firefighter, Captain, Asst. Chief and Chief over the course of 42 years. Served as Aviation Engine Mechanic with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, was a 1957 Jonathan Alder graduate, founding member of EMS, had been a farmer for most his life, and drove a school bus for London City Schools.
Survived by wife of 33 years Donna Eileen Conway; daughter Annette Himmelreich of Florida; son Mike (Janine) Conway of W. Jefferson; step sons Rick (Kathy) Hutchinson of Galloway, Dale Hutchinson of London, Terry Hutchinson of W. Jefferson and Mark (Debbie) Hutchinson of West Virginia. 20 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and brother Frank Conway of Columbus. Preceded by parents.
Visitation Sunday 2-6 PM at RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME, with Wake Service at 5:30. Mass Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Ghiloni officiating. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery. Contributions to Breast Cancer Awareness. Condolences to www.rldfh.com.
