Sarah K. (Cooper) Miller

Sarah K. Miller, 85, of London, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Mount Carmel Medical Center West. Sarah was born November 29, 1932 in Salyersville, Kentucky, the daughter of Dewey and Ethel (Lyon) Cooper. She had been employed with the Madison County Clerk of Courts from 1958 through 1970 and worked for Doctors Bacon and Starr from 1970 through 1992. Sarah graduated from Midway High School in 1951. She loved her family and enjoyed tending to her garden. She looked after and cared for her mother Ethel, who lived to be 103, for many years. Sarah is survived by her husband Robert, whom she married December 7, 1952; son: Mike (Terri) Miller of London; Renee Miller of Galloway; grandchildren: Cara (Mark) Rasor of Galloway; Brian (Kara) Miller of London; great grandchildren: Alison and Brady Rasor; Liam, Connor, and Emily Miller; nieces and nephews and many friends. She has been preceded in death by her parents; brother: Lyon Cooper. Sarah’s family invites friends to call at the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 124 E. High Street, London, Sunday, from 5-7 PM., where a funeral service will be celebrated Monday, 11:00 AM., with William Henry officiating. Interment will follow in the Plumwood Cemetery.
