Peachie (Borders) Crace, 95 of London passed away January 2, 2018 in the London Rehab Center. Born December 24, 1922 in Salyersville, KY to Dewey and Dora (Penix) Borders. She married Emmitt Crace on June 6, 1942 and he passed away December 29, 1992. Peachie retired from Madison Co. Hospital and attended the United Baptist (Alder Chapel) Church. She loved gardening, canning, cooking and her family. She was known for her canned goods, especially her jelly and also her peanut brittle. She will be dearly missed by her sons; Charles (Marilyn) Crace of Cutler, James and Danny Crace of London, and Rick (Jane) Crace of Ada. Peachie had 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Sisters Jewell Arnett of Dayton, June (James) Collins of London,; brothers Ray of Salyersville, KY, Junior (Jean) of London, Joe (Betty) of Flemingsburg, KY, Ken (Shirley) of Salyersville, KY, Roger of Ypslanti, MI and several nieces and nephews. Preceded by parents, husband, brothers Chester, Vanzel and Jackie, son Carroll and grandson Kevin.
Visitation 12:00 PM to time of service at 2:00 PM Saturday at RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, with Elder Charles Smith officiating. Private graveside service will be held Monday in Somerford Cemetery. Contributions to Loving Care Hospice. Condolences to www.rldfh.com.
