Norman E. Wolverton Sr., 86, of Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly of London, died August 29, 2019, with hospice, in Boynton Beach. Norm was born February 5, 1933 in Saint Paul, Indiana, a son of Norman Herbert and Doris (Nail) Wolverton. He graduated from Saint Paul High school and then received both his Bachelor Degree and his Master’s Degree from Ball State University. After his graduation from Ball State, Norm went to work for SRA/IBM for 25 years. He then taught middle school at London. Survivors include his wife of 20 years: Connie Wolverton; children: Kathy Jo (John) King of Marysville; Gene (Jan) Wolverton of London; Mary Elizabeth (Jeff) Brown of Boynton Beach; Lisa Anne (Randy) Young of West Jefferson; David Lee (Deb) Wolverton and daughter-in-law: Tammy (Toops) Wolverton, all of London; sister: Leah Jane Schuman of Independence, Louisiana; fourteen grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; first wife: Jo Anne (Pollard) Wolverton; son: James A. Wolverton Sr.; sister: Rosemond Mitchell. Norm’s family invites friends to call at the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St., London, Saturday September 28, 2019, from 9-11 AM., with a Graveside service to follow at the Kirkwood Cemetery, London.
