Kelly Snyder Obituary

Kelly C. Snyder, 50, of London, died Friday, March 1, 2019, the result of an automobile accident, which also claimed the life of her son, Erik Daniel Snyder. She was born on September 24, 1968, in London, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph F. and Catherine (Fox) Londergan. She was a graduate of London High School and the University of Notre Dame, having received the Joyce Scholarship to attend Notre Dame. Kelly was employed by Madison Health (formerly Madison County Hospital) for the past 28 years, having worked in the development office and served as Executive Director of the Madison Health Foundation. Kelly was a member of the London Public Library Board of Trustees, Mental Health and Recovery Board of Clark, Greene and Madison Counties, the London Rotary Club, Iota Beta Chapter of Phi Beta Psi Sorority, St. Patrick Church and the Altar and Rosary Society, having served as president of several of those organizations. Kelly was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mavourneen Gruzs. She is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Snyder; daughter Eileen Snyder (Austin Smith); parents-in-law Robert and Linda Snyder; brothers, Kevin (Beverly) Londergan, Brian (Teresa) Londergan, Patrick (Laura) Londergan and Timothy (Jennifer) Londergan; sisters, Bridget (Todd) Lane, Erin (Tom) Morris, Ellen (David) Simpson, and Colleen (Scott) Timms; brothers-in-law, Steve (Lisa) Gruzs and Todd (Marlene) Snyder, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be observed at the St. Patrick Parish Center on Friday, March 8 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. with a wake service at 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Church, 61 South Union Street, London, on Saturday, March 9 at 10 a.m. It will be celebrated by Father Kevin Kavanagh. Interment will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery, London. Services entrusted to RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE.
