Joseph "Joe" P. Adams

Joseph P. "Joe" Adams, 85 of Struthers, Ohio died Wednesday November 14, 2018 in the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.. Born in Struthers Ohio on August 22, 1933 to Joseph and Mary (Badzik) Adams. Joe was a graduate of Struthers High School; graduate of Youngstown State University, where he received his degree in Business Administration. He was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict; was employed by C.I.T., Rish Equipment Co. and then Cravat Coal Co. Joe was a former member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Struthers, then after marrying his wife Anne, became a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church in Youngstown. Member of Slovak Catholic Sokol Wreath 108, where he served as Auditor; member Holy Trinity Men's Club; member for many years of the Slovak Catholic Sokol Bowling League and was a member of the Elmton Golf League.

Joe is survived by his son and daughter in law Greg and Lisa Adams of Plain City, OH; grandchildren Lindsay Adams of Grandview OH, Daniel Adams of Suwanee, GA; sister Irene Zajac of Struthers, OH; brothers in law Frank Bielecki, Sr. of Warren, OH and Robert Babnic, Sr. of Poland, OH. Nieces and nephews Robert (Cyndi) Babnic, Frank Bielecki, Jr., Andrew Bielecki, Janice (Kevin) Allard, Gerald (Pauline) Shirilla, Judith Shirilla, Patricia (Brian) Kuipers, Kenneth Zajac and Thomas (Diane) Zajac. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Anne; sister Dorothy Shirilla; brothers in law Danny Shirilla and Frank Zajac; sister in law and brother in law Mary and Jack Gallaer; sisters in law Margaret Bielecki, Dorothy Babnic and nephew Anthony Bielecki.
