Donna Lee Wood

Donna Lee Wood, age 73, of London, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 4 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born October 14, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Clinton and Cecilia (Reid) Wood. She was a 1963 graduate of West High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William (Bill) Wood; sisters, Catherine (Kay) Wood and Evelyn (Wood) Evans. Survived by: partner, Cheryl Mox; sister-in-law, Helen (Grace) Wood; brother-in-law, Russell Evans; nephews and nieces, Jerry (Patty) Dunno, Becky (Tony) Helms, Mark (Lori) Evans, Christina Wetzels, Susan (Randy) Tressler, Shira (Dave) Elder, and Tina Houston; many great-nephews and great-nieces; special friends Brenda Norris, Suzanne Ake, Debbie Haueisen, and Joy and Tim Crace. She will be greatly missed by her fur-babies Chi-Chi and Tootsie. Donna retired at the age of 55 from Nationwide Insurance where she worked both in Columbus, Ohio and New Haven, Connecticut. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and Cincinnati Bengals fan.  She also loved to watch women’s basketball at all levels.  She loved to spend time on her boat with friends and fishing off her dock at the lake. 

Friends may call at the RADER-LYNCH & DODDS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE on Sunday from 2-4 PM. Funeral service will be Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Deacon Dan Hann officiating. Burial in Sunset Cemetery, Alton, OH. Donna asks that all visitors wear their favorite Ohio State attire to the showing and service.
