Carilyn Miller Obituary

Carilyn Jean Miller of London died Saturday January 26, 2019 in Madison Health. Born in Jamestown, Ohio to Edmond S. and Ethel A. (Schwartz) Sexton. She was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, graduated from South Solon High School, her and her sister Marilyn were the first identical twins born in the Jamestown Hospital, which no longer exists, retired from the State of Ohio, had been employed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, General Motors, Battelle as executive assistant to the Nuclear Engineers, she was Madison County Law Librarian, worked at B.C.I. and at the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy, was an actress in community plays and was pianist for St. Patrick School.

Survived by daughter Debbie Bartkowiak of London; sons Steve (Joy) Miller, Gary Miller and Kevin Miller all of London. Grandchildren Justin and Derek (Morgan) Bartkowiak, Nathan (Leslie) Miller, Bryan (Lindsay) Miller, Brynn Miller, Bryce Miller and Jevon Miller. Great grandchildren Noah, Bryson, Olivia, Gracelyn, Will, Elayna and Mason. Siblings Marilyn (Merle) Isaacs of Tennessee, Eugene (Darlene) Sexton, Libby (Gene) Brandenburg, Leo Sexton all of London, Dora Kovac of Florida, Pat Sexton of London, Ethel Sexton of Columbus John (Geneva) Sexton of Tennessee and numerous nieces and nephews. Carilyn is precedeed in death by her parents, husband Ray M. Miller, grandson Gregg Miller, sister Leah Ann Raub and brother James Sexton.

The family invites friends to call at the St. Patrick Parish Center on Wednesday from 4-7 PM, followed by Wake Service. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Patrick Catholic Church Thursday at 11:00 AM, with Father Michael Hinterschied officiating. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
